HealClick

A free private spoonie community. Team up with similar patients to track your health and get better together.

This is an actual graph from a HealClick member. Look at the change in overall wellbeing after they switched to a low sulfur diet! (10 = worst, 0 = best)This is the power of health tracking in action. #chronicillness #spoonie #healclick #healthtracker #beforeandafter

Does anyone else store their empties and then take commemorative pictures? (photocredit to HealClick member Luke on this one)

These images are powerful. So many pills swallowed and so much money invested. We want to get a collection of these images to help illustrate to the non-chroncially-ill world what reality looks like when you’re sick. If you have any pictures like this please post them with the tag #HealClickPic or email them to me at Rachael@HealClick.com

oh my…what big spoons you have!

My shoutouts for this week go to my boyfriend, healclickjekabeth, and predatorhead for making my life suck a little less.

We had a little fun during the filming of a new site video (coming soon!)

chronicallyinvisible:

My mantra for the past week: You’re unwell and you’re allowed to be unwell. Sometimes you’re not capable of doing anything but being unwell, and that’s okay. Sometimes all the world needs from you is just to get through each day. You don’t have anything to prove, you don’t have a deadline to meet, you’re allowed to set your own pace. Just look after you.

There is a voice inside of you that whispers all day long

"I feel that this is right for me, I know that this is wrong."

- Shel Silverstein

Try and put pride aside if you truly believe it will improve your quality of life. Easier said than done of course.
Why do you keep punishing your body by forcing it to do more than it can? When your time has come will you be happy that you always worried what others thought of you? Depriving yourself of any comfort that your body is begging for?
